Welcome
Llanbrynmair is the largest parish in England and Wales and if you explore, one of the most beautiful. There are eight hamlets around the area in addition to Llanbrymair itself, each with it's own history and features; Bont Dolgadfan, Llan, Talerddig, Pennant, Tafolwern, Pandy, Dolfach and Dylife.
Llanbrynmair village has a primary school, a village shop, a pub and a cafe.
Llanbrynmair community centre is also on the same site as the village primary school. It has a large hall, a smaller meeting room and a kitchen.
There is a demountable stage in the hall which can seat around 150 people in rows and between 100 – 120 people around tables.
The meeting room is suitable for a meeting of up to 20 people.
A number of organisations use the community centre regularly including:
Merched y Wawr
Clwb y Ddol
Women's Institute
Guides, Brownies and Rainbows
Cylch Meithrin (pre-school Welsh medium playgroup)
Ti a Fi (parent and toddler group)
Ballroom Dancing group
Zumba class
Indoor bowls club
The hall is also the venue for two Eisteddfods each year – a local one in late January and a larger event in July which attracts competitors from across Wales.
There are also occasional concerts and other events held in the hall.
